We are still working on this site and would enjoy any comments that you might have. Our aim is to bring to the awareness of all the grace and love that may be found in Christ, a grace and love that may be shown by Christ's willingness to die on the cross for us and by God's desire to sacrifice his only son for us in order to bring us this love. I can only speak for myself, but I would like to make others aware of the love that God has shown me, not because I deserve it but because he perhaps hopes I might respond to this love and want others to know about it, others that I would be able to reach in my own way. Please feel free to respond to this homepage in any way that you like. Karel (Charlie)

The rest of the text on this
page is purely for SEO purposes. SEO stands for Search Engine
Optimization and is an important procedure if I am to reach anyone with Christ's love.
After all, if someone were to do a search on the internet with such keywords as God,
Christ's love, free counseling, help me God, Jesus Christ, and other words like that, they
might come up with many many pages which have these keywords in it. And most people don't
bother looking too far past the first 10 search results, in which case tactics as these
(referred to as "keyword stuffing"), whereby I purposefully squeeze onto the
webpage such important words as God, Christ loves, Jesus Christ and other words like that,
are important if I am to reach anyone. And why am I worried about stuffing with the
keywords Christ loves? Well, that is just the first thing that popped in my head a long
time ago when I made this Christ loves page, before I knew anything about SEO. So I
thought I'd just stick with it. Probably not a very popular keyword search, but I guess
I'm just sticking to tradition. And personally, I like the concept of Christ loves. As the
bible says, "God is love". In that sense we can consider God as a spiritual
being who is just a massive ball of love. Love, inevitably, is a spiritual matter. Of
course, a song does say that "love is a drug", and it is true that bodily
chemistry does happen when we fall IN love with someone, but this is different than
spiritual love. Like the love you feel for your mother or a close friend. It is different
than bodily lust love. But the existence of bodily lust love does not necessarily
interfere with real spiritual love. Now since Christ is essentially God in flesh, or his
offspring, it naturally follows that he would also be filled with love. And he was trying
to preach that message to us. After all, the first two and most important commandments
tell us to love. That is what the whole message of the bible is about. If we do not work
to fill ourselves with spiritual love and hopefully avoid anything (referred to as
"sin") which might take away any of that love from us, then we are going down
the path of darkness, and become "dead", as the bible symbolically words it.
That is basically what the devil is trying to accomplish -tempt us away from love by
convincing us that money, lust, pride and things like that are more important. But such
things do not fill us with true happiness. They do not necessarily prevent us from being
happy, but the more we are obsessed with them, the greater the probability that we will be
less happy. Because happiness is a spiritual matter. If we snort a bunch of coke, it will
make us chemically "happy" by pumping our bodies with endorphins or whatever is
the chemical or scientific explanation, but this is not true spiritual happiness. Just
look at all the people who get hooked on coke. Do they look happy? Their souls lack
spiritual love, and because we are creatures who are naturally drawn to be filled with
love, because that is how God made us and formed all life, such people who seek to fill it
by these chemical means might be filled so much with these endorphins that they can
convince themselves they are happy, or be distracted enough in this way, but once they
come down from this high they are back to their lonesome and empty selves, and hence get
hooked on this drug. Because it is certainly depressing to be so lonely and empty. I
assume there are also some chemical reasons for such addiction, but I believe there is
this psychological factor to the addiction as well. To break this addiction one can switch
to another drug, but if they do not replace that emptiness within them with the love of
Christ, or God, which we can argue is the source of love and such spiritual happiness, I
think that it would be quite difficult to break such an addiction. After all, what would
be the meaning of life if, after coming down from such a joyous high, there is nothing
remaining? Such an empty person could never be satisfied with money, lust or work because
such things do not make someone happy, and they could only stare with hopelessness into
the dark despair of their empty souls. It must be horrible and depressing. And hence the
love of Christ saves us in this way. The bible says that God loved us first. The sun
emanates its light, free of charge and as a natural reaction to the processes happening
within it, just as love freely emanates from Christ and God. But if we stand in the shade,
we're not going to get a tan, are we? So technically one might argue that this love is not
free because it actually requires us to do something - get out of the shade, and stop
sinning. Not that God will love us less if we sin, or the sun will shine any less if we
stand in the shade, it's just that standing in the shade or sinning puts us more out of
reach of this love. God and Jesus loved us first, because that is simply their character
and natural disposition. Christ laid down his life as a sacrifice as a necessary gesture
of love, in the hopes that we will respond to that gesture and his love to become loving
beings, who love everyone around us (including our enemies, as the bible commands), so
that the love spreads, hopefully becomes contagious, more people love, and the world
becomes a much nicer place to live in. This is God's hope, simply because he loves us,
cares for us, and because he is a loving being who is happy when love abounds and everyone
is happier. Wouldn't a loving being naturally be happier when everyone around them is
happier? That is the natural reaction of someone who is filled with love. True love is
selfless. It is a spiritual matter, and when you are filled with love, you see the
meaningless of money and pride. You may be proud and think you are great, but that does
not fill your empty soul. If you are proud but also happy, you are happy because of other
reasons than your pride. Like perhaps because of the joy your child gives you and who you
love very much. So once again we are back to love. Christian Link
